To Benefit The Shriners Hospitals For Children Of Greenville, SC
Our show was a success this year and we would like to thank all of our sponsors, contributors, and of course the show participants. Our show was once again held to benefit the Shriners Hospitals For Children Of Greenville, SC and we raised a hefty $1500.00 for the children. This year we had 95 show cars with people from all over South Carolina, North Carolina and Georgia. The show field was packed with cars including cars from the 1920 to vintage Italian sports cars. We had cars ranging from the start of the automotive era to the latest in style, from Model A's to 2009 Chargers, Mustangs and Chevrolets. There were 50's family cars, 60's muscle cars, 70's sports cars, hot rods, rat rods, trucks galore, truly something for everyone to enjoy. Music was provided and food was plentiful at TW Boon's and Howard's on Main, Mama's Dogs, Papa John's Pizza and Chick Fil-A. Ice cream was provided by Brusters and was a very welcome addition to the day. The weather could not have been better, with sunshine, blue skies and pleasant temperatures. All in all it was just one of the best car shows in a long time. Please watch our website for information regarding our 41st Annual Car Show in beautiful Uptown Greenwood to be held next spring. We hope to make next year's show even bigger and better to celebrate our 41st anniversary and are shooting for 150 cars in attendance. See you there!!
